Editorial Policy

This page sets out who writes Blogging Titan, the rules every article follows, and how we handle updates, corrections, AI tools and money. If a page on the site falls short of it, tell us and we will fix the page.

Who writes the site

Blogging Titan is an independent blog about starting, growing and earning from a blog, run from the UK. It has been publishing since 2017. Most articles carry the byline Blogging Titan Team, the site’s in-house editorial team. The team is responsible for everything published under that byline, including the studies and the price data.

Guest contributors write under their own name, with their own bio and author page. A guest post is reviewed by the team before it goes live, and links inside it are marked nofollow.

You can reach the editors at contact@bloggingtitan.com or through the contact page.

What every article has to do

  • Answer the question in the opening paragraphs, then show the working.
  • Link the source of every statistic, with the date of the figure. If no source can be found, the figure is cut.
  • Use our own data where we have it. The research library exists so guides can rest on evidence we collected.
  • Read prices from the vendor’s own site and date them. Check the currency.
  • Only claim hands-on use of a product when the page can show it.
  • Say what the evidence cannot tell you. Studies end with a limits section.

How each kind of page is researched is set out on How we test.

Updates and dates

Each article shows when it was published and, if it has been revised, when. We change the “Updated” date only when the content changes in a way a reader would notice: new prices, new data, a corrected claim or a rewritten section. Fixing a typo or a broken link does not count. We hold ourselves to this because our Fake Refresh study found that 14 of 25 posts claiming a 2026 update had changed almost nothing.

Price pages and comparison tables are re-checked on a schedule, and each page shows when its prices were last read.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it on the page and add a dated note saying what changed. We do not quietly edit a figure that other sites may already have quoted. Significant corrections are also listed in the corrections log. To report an error, email contact@bloggingtitan.com with the page address.

How we use AI tools

We use AI tools to help collect data, run analysis scripts and draft text. Their output is never treated as a source. Every figure in a study is recomputed from the raw data by a separate check that is told to look for errors, and articles are checked against Wikipedia’s Signs of AI writing list before and after publishing. We have published the results of that check on our own archive.

How the site makes money

Blogging Titan earns from affiliate links on some tool and hosting pages, from blog audits and services, and from licensing its AI Citation Grader. Affiliate links are disclosed on the page where they appear and marked rel="sponsored". Our rankings, verdicts and price tables are not for sale. Full details are in the affiliate disclosure.
