What is GEO and how is it different from SEO?
GEO (generative engine optimization) is getting your content quoted inside AI answers like Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity. SEO aims for rankings; GEO aims for citations. They overlap, but less than you would think. In our own study of 27 Google AI Overviews, 70.4% of the sources cited did not rank in the organic top 10 for that query, and the number-one organic result was cited only 67% of the time. GEO is a partly separate game, and it is the one we specialize in.
Do you guarantee rankings or AI citations?
