The short answer
Fillout is free for up to 1,000 responses a month, with unlimited forms and unlimited seats. Paid plans run from Starter at $19 a month to Business at $89 a month on month-to-month billing, or $15 to $75 a month billed yearly. Every plan prices per account, not per user. Fillout’s banner says annual billing saves 20 percent; worked out from its own figures, the saving is 21.1 percent on Starter and 15.7 percent on Business.

What the pricing page does not tell you
The size of the annual discount, the free payments and what happens at the response cap are the three things worth knowing before you choose a plan.
- The banner says annual billing saves 20 percent. Worked out from Fillout’s own prices, the saving is $48 a year on Starter (21.1 percent), $108 on Pro (18.4 percent) and $168 on Business (15.7 percent). The bigger the plan, the smaller the discount.
- Payments through Stripe are on every plan, including Free, and Fillout’s payment help page says it adds 0 percent on top. Stripe’s own processing fees still apply.
- Going over the response limit does not switch a form off. Fillout’s help page says forms keep collecting and the count resets on the 1st, but an account that stays over may have features limited.
- Fillout and Zite are billed separately. A paid Fillout plan does not upgrade Zite, and the Team bundle is the plan that covers both.
