Canva pricing in 2026: every plan, and what it has cost since July
US$180/yr to start. Read from Canva’s own pricing page in US dollars, with every earlier reading we hold kept on the page.
The short answer
Canva Pro is US$180 a year for one person and Canva Business is US$250 a year per person. The free plan has no time limit and no card requirement. A monthly billing option exists but Canva does not print its price on the annual view of the pricing page, so the yearly figure is the only one you can rely on.
What Canva costs
Prices as published by the vendor on 4 September 2026. Where a plan has no month-to-month option, the column says so.
| Plan | Month to month | Billed yearly | Charged up front | What it includes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | US$0 | US$0/yr | One person, core editor and templates | |
| Pro | Not published on the annual view | US$180/yr | US$180/yr | One person |
| Business | Not published on the annual view | US$250/yr per person | US$250/yr | Per person, team features |
| Enterprise | Contact sales | Custom |
What you actually pay first: US$180 for a year of Canva Pro. Free option: Canva Free, US$0 for one person.
Price change history
The dollar price has not moved between our two dollar readings. The more useful finding is that Canva prices by country. On 20 July 2026 the same page served pounds to a British browser and could not be made to show dollars at all. Our July study had to drop Canva from its numeric comparison for that reason.
| Date read | Plan | What we recorded | Where the reading came from |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-07-20 | Pro and Business | Served in pounds to a UK connection: Pro £13/mo, Business £18/mo. No USD figure obtainable | Ground-truth capture for our Teaser Rate Test study. Canva was one of two tools we could not force into dollars |
| 2026-09-03 | Pro | US$180/yr | Cost Index build, read from a United States connection |
| 2026-09-04 | Pro and Business | US$180/yr and US$250/yr per person | This page |
What the pricing page does not tell you
Canva is clearer than most vendors about currency, and less clear about monthly billing.
- Canva writes its prices as US$180, with the currency spelled out. That is unusually clear labelling and worth copying.
- Business is charged per person. A three-person team is US$750 a year.
- The free plan is not a trial. It does not expire.
How this page is maintained
How we read these prices. Every figure on this page was read from Canva’s own pricing page on 4 September 2026. The reading was taken from a United States connection, so the currency is US dollars. Several vendors in this category price by country. That is the most common reason two honest reviews quote different numbers for the same plan.
We keep every reading we have ever taken, with its date, in the history table above. We re-read this page monthly and record what we find whether or not anything moved. No figure here is copied from another review.
